Bruschetta

Ingredients:


-1 loaf of french bread

-30 cherry tomatoes

-1/4 cup of red onion

-2 cloves of garlic

-8 fresh leaves of basil

​-2 tbsp olive oil

-2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

-Pinch of pepper & salt to taste

Directions:


1. Preheat oven to broil on high.


2. Add a light base layer of oil to a medium-sized oven-safe tray.


2. Dice 1/4 a cup of red onion, 30 cherry tomatoes, 2 cloves of garlic & 8 fresh leaves of basil.


3. In a medium-sized bowl, combine red onion, cherry tomatoes, garlic, and basil.


4. Add 1 tbsp olive oil and 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar to the same bowl and stir. Adding in pepper and salt to taste.


6. Cut french bread into 1-inch slices.

7. Before placing an oven-safe tray, spread oil on the tops and bottoms of each piece of bread.


8. Place bread on the tray and broil for 5 minutes (or until lightly browned).


9. Remove bread from the oven.


10. Add bruschetta toppings to each slice of bread.


11. Serve and Enjoy!
